An open letter to the citizens of Saudi Arabia
The chief editor at the danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten has written an open letter to the Saudi public. The action came after several days of boycott of danish goods in the Middleeast. The boycott was started because Jyllands-Posten published 12 caricatures of the prophet Mohammed in the fall 2005.
Jyllands-Posten has in the last couple of days been under pressure from industry organizations and politicians. Here is the newspapers response: Link to pdf

They are not kids ..

It’s not an apology. It’s a, rather limited, explanation of what’s happened, and a clarification of what Jyllands-Posten has said from the very begining. The fact that you think it’s something new, or some sort of response to you, just shows how little you actually know of what’s happened in Denmark, and what lead to the caricatures.

the Danish Government and Authorities did not take the whole situation in a serious way, the Government should come on all International Televisions in the world to apologize to the Muslims and make sure that these type of actions will not be repeated. we need an international apology for all muslims in the world.

I for one am pleased that things are going so well for all the millions of people in all the thousands of cities of the Islamic world that a dozen cartoons in one newspaper in one tiny little northern country are able to consume this much energy and burn up this much human capital.
Didn’t a whole bunch of pilgrims recently die in Saudi Arabia? Doesn’t that happen nearly every year? Shouldn’t the Saudi Government be held responsible?
WAIT! STOP! SHUSH! There are cartoons to discuss…!

JUst ingnore the cartoons if they are offensive. I’ve looked at them an d they are not great and I must say that the reason behind these cartoons are simply propaganda and looking for fame of any sort. The cartoonists knew the response of muslims and muslims al over the world got upst and responded. Now the Danish Newspaper is famous.
Hust Ignore It.

I encourage all the free people of the world to buy Danish products in support of free speech. Do not allow islamic oppression to destroy a beacon of freedom in Europe. To the Danes I tip my hat - at least you people understand the basic principles of freedom.

What ever they say and do nothing will be changed. They hate us and we have to realize that.
They say “Arabs or Muslims are terrors!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wish they read Islam to learn how to treat and respect believes others.
They considers us as animals or what.
They have to know we are great Umah with Islam which asked us to respect all other religions.
Freedom of expression does not mean to insult not only religions but any one in this world.
